Cedar Rapids Kernels

Photo Credit: Cedar Rapids Kernels The Cedar Rapids Kernels are based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The team is affiliated with the Minnesota Twins and plays in the Midwest League. Home games are in Veterans Memorial Stadium. In April of 1994 Mr. Shucks was plucked from the crop to represent the Kernels as their beloved mascot. Now in his 25th season with the Kernels, Mr. Shucks continues to spread joy across Eastern Iowa at fairs, charity events and local elementary schools promoting the Kernels Summer Reading Program. The big corny fella loves making new friends while cheering on the Kernels at Veterans Memorial Stadium so the next time you see him don’t be shy, give him a big high-five!  Mr. Shucks has a great sense of humor. He thinks its funny when the other team makes errors and when people mistake him for the most handsome guy in the universe. Fort Wayne TinCaps

Photo Credit: Fort Wayne Tincaps Johnny TinCap is the mascot of the Fort Wayne TinCaps based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They are affiliated with the San Diego Padres. and play at Parkview Field. They won the franchise's fourth Midwest League Championship, and first in Fort Wayne, in 2009. Johnny hails from Fort Wayne and joined the TinCaps in April of 2009 to help jumpstart the move to downtown Parkview Field. Since arriving at Parkview Field, Johnny has shown that he has extensive experience entertaining large crowds. Whether it is helping with different on-field promotions or dancing with his friend Breakin' B-Boy McCoy, Johnny loves to put smiles on the faces of everyone who comes through the gates of Parkview Field. In addition to his work during TinCaps games, Johnny takes pride in being the face of the Fort Wayne baseball franchise. Staten Island Yankees

Scooter the Holy Cow Is the mascot for the Staten Island Yankees located in the New York City borough of Staten Island. They are an affiliate of the New York Yankees. They are a member of the New York-Penn Leauge. Home games are at Arena/Stadium: Richmond Coutny Bank BallBallpark. Scooter the Holy Cow, inspired by Phil Rizzuto and his famous tagline, has served as the team's primary mascot since the inaugural season in 1999. Scooter can be found entertaining fans in the stands and on the field all game long. While the team is on the road, Scoots grazes on the outfield grass, keeping it in perfect playing condition for the Baby Bombers. Scooter spends the offseason making visits in Staten Island, keeping the Staten Island Yankee spirit alive across the city.”

Jackson Generals

Photo Credit: Pam Dietz Sarge is the mascot for the Jackson Generals, a member of the Southern League. They are an affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The team is located in Jackson, Tennessee, and plays their home games at The Ballpark at Jackson. Opened in 1998, the park currently holds 6,000 fans.  Sarge was born in Jackson, Tennessee in 2011 and became an instant fan favorite as a larger-than-life pup. Sarge wears a dark green army helmet to protect his head from foul balls, and he is always dressed in a custom camouflage jersey and pants that are made to look like the Generals' uniforms. Sarge's size would make him an excellent target as a first baseman if he ever decided to pay attention. While he isn't the fastest dog around, Sarge's love for the game of baseball and his always-present grin have made him a magnet for fans big and small at The Ballpark at Jackson. Charlotte Knights

Photo Credit: Joy Marie De Block Homer the Dragon is the mascot for the Charlotte Knights who play in Charlotte, North Carolina. The team, which plays in the International League, is an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The Knights play at BB&T Ballpark located in Uptown Charlotte.   Homer the Dragon is the most famous and loved dragon in baseball! While he’s never surfed, he certainly enjoys a good wave. Homer is known for playfully biting the heads of his best friends and giving the most amazing high fives.  He does around 200 appearances a year that span from visits to the Levine Children’s Hospital in Uptown Charlotte, to television interviews, to Miracle League games and various corporate functions. His nemesis is the Royalty Racing character, Jerry the Jester. Homer does whatever it takes to make sure that only the King, Queen, and Knight win races.
