Tennessee Smokies

Photo Credit - Tennessee Smokies Homer Hound is the mascot for The Tennessee Smokies based in Knoxville, Tennessee. The team plays in the Southern League. They are an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. Smokies Stadium, the team's ballpark, is located in the suburb of Kodak, and seats up to 6,000 fans. Homer is a fun-loving dog who loves to have his ear scratched. Homer has been hanging around Smokies Stadium since the 2013 season. He can often be seen around Smokies Stadium hitting home runs, stealing second base, or lounging in the suites. He loves interacting with fans, bouncing on the pony hops, and can't resist a good game of fetch. Homer Hound is a big reason why Smokies Stadium is America's Friendliest Ballpark. Mobile Bay Bears

                                        Bay B. Bear, Left  Teddy, Right Photo Credit: David Haney The Mobile BayBears are based in Mobile, Alabama. The team plays in the Southern League and are an affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, California. They play at Hank Aaron Stadium. Teddy, (On right in photo) is the fan favorite of our three mascots at Hank Aaron Stadium. The adjectives to describe Teddy are numerous. He’s loving, funny, silly, and etc. Teddy can also be a bit of a prankster. He likes to take caps away from fans, rub and shine the heads of bald men, and tries to “woo” the ladies in front of their man. Teddy also has a bit of an ego at times. He sometimes thinks he’s the best and picks on his friends, Bay B. Bear and Kookie. He also loves popcorn. If you have popcorn in the ballpark, watch out! Teddy will try and steal some. Somerset Patriots

Photo Credit: Somerset Patriots Baseball Club Sparkee is the Mascot for the Somerset Patriots based in Bridgewater Township, New Jersey.They are a member of the Liberty Division of the Atlantic League, an independent minor league with a groundbreaking partnership with Major League Baseball to test experimental rules and equipment that may impact the future of the game. Sparkee The Mascot has been called the "hardest working mascot in the Atlantic League!" That's because in addition to every Somerset Patriots home game, Sparkee can be seen at hundreds of community events throughout the year. Making his debut at the Atlantic League All-Star game in July of 1998, Sparkee has since gone on to become one of the most popular characters in the Central New Jersey area. Sparkee received his name in a contest run to help the team name the mascot before the Somerset Patriots even played a game. Lexington Legends

He was raised by two horse trainers who worked on many of the beautiful horse farms of the area. He spent his childhood days playing the game of baseball in the fields of these sprawling farms. After a stand out high school and college career, here in Lexington, he was drafted by the Houston Colt 45's. He toiled for many long and tough years in the Houston minor leagues system wondering if he would ever make the majors. His dreams were finally realized one day when he got the call that he was going up to the Houston team to play in his first major league game. His dreams had not been realized by the 45's that had drafted him though. These dreams came true with the organization that had become known as The Houston Astros, the same organization helping Lexington's baseball dreams come true

Augusta Greenjackets

Photo Credit: Augusta Staff Photographer Auggie is the mascot for the Augusta GreenJackets in the South Atlantic League. The GreenJackets are a Class A Affiliate with the San Francisco Giants. This 2019 upcoming season will be their second in North Augusta, South Carolina at SRP Park after leaving Lake Olmstead. Auggie always dreamed about being a part of the GreenJackets organization. He would watch all the games and see how fun they looked and that just made him want to be a part of it even more. So, one day he got the courage and tried out... for the dance team. This is what he has always wanted to do, and he loves to shake his stinger! Unfortunately, Auggie did not make the dance team but they saw how excited, motivated, and passionate he was, so they decided to offer him the position of the team mascot! Delmarva Shorebirds

Photo Credit: Joey Gardner Sherman is the mascot for the Delmarva Shorebirds based in Salisbury, Maryland. They are members of the Atlantic League and affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles. The Shorebirds play at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The name "Shorebirds" refers to the marine waterfowl of the Delmarva Peninsula. Sherman is the official mascot of the Delmarva Shorebirds. He is a 7-foot tall furry bird that loves to entertain fans of all ages during home games at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. He also can be spotted in the area making appearances at schools, churches, hospitals, area restaurants, libraries and more. His hobbies include doing the Chicken Dance at Shorebirds games, signing autographs and launching t-shirts. Sherman made his first appearance during the 1997 season, and he has been a staple ever since. Greensborough Grasshoppers

Guilford is the mascot for the Greensboro Grasshoppers who play in the South Atlantic League. They are an affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. They are located in Greensboro, North Carolina, and play their home games at First National Bank Field, that opened in 2005 and seats 7,499 fans. Guilford enjoys cheering on the Grasshoppers with is fellow fans. When he is not doing the YMCA on top of the dugout, he can often be found polishing the 2011 South Atlantic League trophy. Guilford loves to play musical chairs with fans. He also makes sure the ballpark is pest free with his water gun, just like his sponsor Pest Management Systems, Inc. Guilford’s favorite color is green and he loves to eat hot dogs. Be sure to visit First National Bank Field and give him a great big high-five! Guilford growing up around Greensboro he was always jealous of his cousin, the bat. This started him at a young age wanting to be a mascot for the local minor league team. Idaho Falls Chuckars

Photo Credit: Steve Thayer Charlie Chukar is the mascot for the Idaho Falls Chukars based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The Chukars are an affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. They play their home games at Melaleuca Field, which has a seating capacity of 3,600 Inspired by the Thirty Seconds to Mars song “Walk on Water” Charlie walked on and across the Snake River on October 15th 2017. The Snake River is a predominant river in Idaho. It covers a few states but goes all through Idaho.He made the walk once again on April 12th, 2018. When Charlie is not walking across the Snake River he is at the ballpark cheering on the Chukars. Charlie is his name cecause it goes well ith Chukar. While Charlie lacked the bat speed and hand-eye coordination to make it as a player, he does have a rocket for an arm. He frequently hangs around the bullpen, throws bullpen sessions and tries to convince the pitching coach that he deserves a chance to display his talents in game situations. An Avid Fisherman, C

Lake County Captains

Photo Credit: Tim Phillis  Skipper is the mascot of The Lake County Captains located in Eastlake, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. They are a member of the Midwest Leauge.  They play at Classic Park.  The team is an affiliate of the Cleveland Indians.  Skipper joined the Lake County Captains in their inaugural season at Classic Park back in 2003. When he is at Captains games, he loves dancing on the dugouts, messing around with fans and players, and making sure everyone is having a good time. Skipper resides in Captains Cove, a small tropical island in the middle of Lake Erie. When Skipper isn't at the stadium, he enjoys water skiing, eating popcorn and hot dogs, and watching movies. His favorite movie is the Sandlot. Skipper,s favorite player from our parant club, the Cleveland Indians, is Francisco Lindor who played for the Captains in 2012. If Skipper wasn't our mascot, he would be a movie star in Hollywood.

Gwinnet Stripers

Photo Credit: Team Staff The Gwinnett Stripers, formerly the Gwinnett Braves, are the Atlanta Braves AAA baseball affiliate located in Gwinnett County, roughly an hour north of the city of Atlanta. Home games are played at Coolray Field. Born on September 15, 2008, Chopper is the world-renowned mascot of the Gwinnett Stripers. He is a descendant of General Beauregard Lee, Georgia’s famous groundhog who predicts the weather with his shadow. Chopper’s favorite activities include wood-chucking, base running, and Build-A-Burger contestant demolishing. When he’s done taking naps in the dugout before home games, Chopper loves teasing his friends around the ballpark and taking photos with fans. While the Stripers are on the road, Chopper can be found making appearances around Gwinnett County and the Atlanta metro area. They play their home games at Dell Diamond. Spike is always excited to entertain the crowd at his beloved ballpark. You're probably wondering how a dog like Spike ended up at a baseball stadium. Well, with a little luck and a well-timed jump off a Union Pacific boxcar, Spike landed in Round Rock, the Sports Capital of Texas. The Express were just getting started and needed someone to help entertain all the fans. Whether it is taking pictures, leading the Kids Club on the field for parades or pulling a prank or two, Spike always brings the fun to every Express home game. They play in Cooley Law School Stadium. Big Lug is seven feet of baseball love, hailing from parts unknown, the eighth wonder of the world and the Lugnuts' biggest fan! Big Lug entertains Lansing Lugnuts fans year-round and is at each and every game located at Cooley Law School Stadium in Lansing, Michigan. They are located in Fayetteville, North Carolina and play at Segra Stadium. Bunker is the Mascot of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, the Class A Advanced Affiliate of the Houston Astros! Bunker has built his nest at Segra Stadium, right in the heart of downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina & minutes away from the world’s largest military installation: Fort Bragg. His favorite hobbies are pecking trees, reading his favorite book “The Owl and the Woodpecker” by Brian Wildsmith, playing baseball, & dancing (especially the Cupid Shuffle and Flossing!). Winston-Salem Dash

They are in the Carolina League and have been an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox since 1997. Home games are played in BB&T Ballpark. Since his arrival in 2009, BOLT has been an electrifying presence, not only in the ballpark but all around the city of Winston-Salem. Some may wonder, but he’s not a dog, he’s not a bear, but rather a Bleacher Creature. His notable achievements include helping the Dash become #1 in all of High A baseball for attendance over the last nine years, being the only Minor League Mascot with a Mohawk, and holding the record for most belly shakes by a mascot in the Minor Leagues. The team is member of the Texas League, and serves as the Double-A affiliate to the Kansas City Royals. They play in Arvest Ballpark. Strike and Sinker love spending time with all of our great fans rooting for the Natural at our Ballpark. Both mascots enjoy attending charitable and school events and binging joy to the kids throughout Northwest arkasas and nearby communities. The Johnson City Cardinals are members of the Appalachian League, and play their home games at TVA Credit Union Ballpark located in Downtown Johnson City, Tennessee. When attending a Johnson City Cardinals game, you will most likely find JayCee throwing out t-shirts, challenging kids to dance offs, or giving high-fives and hugs! In his spare time, JayCee enjoys being out in the community, whether it be visiting a local children's hospital, attending new business openings, or visiting local schools. San Antonio Missions

Photo Credit: Dave Michael Ballapeño is the mascot for the San Antonio Missions located in San Antonio, Texas. They are a member of the Pacific Coast League. They are an affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. The team is named for The Alamo, originally a Spanish mission located in San Antonio. They play at the Arena/Stadium: Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. Ballapeño sprouted in center field in the spring of 2001 and has been a part of the San Antonio Missions family ever since. Every night Ballapeño makes his grand appearance in the middle of the 1st inning to help pump up the crowd and cheer the Missions to another victory. Ballapeño has been rumored to specifically pick the Taco Chaser every evening and unconfirmed reports have spotted him laughing in the dugout as “Henry” bites the dust night after night.
