Hickory Crawdads

The Hickory Crawdads are a member of the South Atlantic League and the Class A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. They are located in Hickory, North Carolina. Their ballpark is L. P. Frans Stadium which opened in 1993.

 Conrad the Crawdad has been entertaining Crawdad fans since the first game ever played in 1993, and hasn’t missed one since. In 2019, it will be Conrad’s 27th season with the Crawdads. Conrad and Candy met on Lake Hickory in 2005, and immediately hit it off. Candy has been with the team ever since and loves throwing candy to the fans at L.P. Frans Stadium. This past summer on May 12th, 2018 they decided it was time for the next step in their relationship and Conrad finally asked her to marry him. Conrad and Candy were married on the field with some of their closest friends on Sunday June 24th, 2018

The team plays in Northern Division of the International League and is the affiliate of the New York Yankees. They play in PNC Field, a 10,000 baseball stadium. Striker is the Florida Fire Frogs mascot. The Frogs are a member of the Florida State League in Kissimmee, Florida, part of the Greater Orlando metropolitan area. Founded in 2017, the team is an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. They play their home games at Osceola County Stadium. Striker the Fire Frog has served as the mascot for the Florida Fire Frog, an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves located in Central Florida, since 2017. He has been known for his crazy antics around Osceola County Stadium. “Central Florida's favorite amphibian” was originally found by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission at Lake Tohopekaliga.
