Rascal is the Mascot of The Quad Cities River Bandits. They are affiliated with the Houston Astros, in the Midwest League. They play at Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport, Iowa.

Rascal first appeared with the River Bandits on April 1, 2008. So, this past season we celebrated his 10th birthday on August 2.

Rascal is the playful yet mischievous face of the River Bandits' franchise. Rascal is always decked out in his River Bandits attire and never misses an opportunity to pump up the crowd! If this giant, cuddly raccoon isn't seen wandering the concourse, he can be found out on the field between innings.

He has been known to challenge fans to a race around the base paths, dance on top of the dugouts, or just cheer on contestants in the on-field games! Even if the River Bandits are out of town for a ballgame, that doesn't mean that Rascal won't be found in the Quad Cities Davenport, Iowa area. The fun-loving animal will go anywhere the River Bandits staff goes to show his River Bandits spirit!

Rascal helps the River Bandits Book Buddies reading program and make appearances throughout the Quad Cities community.
