Memphis Redbirds
The Memphis Redbirds, Memphis, Tennessee are an affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. They play in AutoZone Park which opened in 2000.
Rockey the Rockin' Redbird, the official team mascot of the Memphis Redbirds, loves to make AutoZone Park his playground and have fun with the best fans in baseball. Rockey first flew the coop in 1997 to join the Redbirds organization in their inaugural season of 1998.
On game days, Rockey can be seen flying through the stadium signing autographs or taking picture with fans. When not taking selfies with fans, Rockey leads the promo team in cutting a rug during the 7th inning stretch and tossing out t-shirts in between innings. Outside of living the celebrity life at AutoZone Park and being the spokesbird for the Kids Club, Rockey enjoys traveling throughout Memphis to be the life of every party and event. As long as there are Redbird fans, Rockey will be found strutting on top of the dugout shaking his tail-feather.
