Omaha Storm Chasers

The Omaha Storm Chasers are in the Pacific Coast League (PCL). They are an affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and are located in Papillion, Nebraska. They play their home games at Werner Park.

Stormy:
When the Omaha Royals became the Omaha Storm Chasers, we went searching for a mascot who could represent and lead the new brand. Stormy was just the guy for the job! He joined forces with Casey and Vortex in 2011 for the debut of Werner Park and the Storm Chasers. Gearing up for our 50th Season, he leads our team of four mascots not only at Storm Chasers games, but all over the Omaha Metro area!

Casey:
Casey joined the Omaha Royals in 1994 to fill the team’s much needed mascot position. Before the 2002 season, in an act of pure Royals pride, he dyed his fur Royal blue! Now that’s dedication! Born on April 21, 1969, Casey will be celebrating his 50th birthday in conjunction with the 50th Season in franchise history! We are so glad Casey has stayed with the team through the Royals and Golden Spikes years, and now as a proud member of the Storm Chasers!

Vortex:
Vortex is a whirlwind of fun! He joined the Storm Chasers in 2011 along with Stormy to help welcome fans into beautiful Werner Park for the first time! He loves to spin around, (it’s in his nature really) and jump around on his head to pump up the crowd before a game!

Sizzle:
Sizzle is the hometown meathead whose daring, aggressive style has made him a juicy favorite. This Omaha Steak has been searing the competition with us since 2014! Sizzle’s cowboy scowl makes him seem pretty gritty, but don’t be afraid. He’s really a big softy on the inside! (He’s a hugger).
