Paws is the mascot for the Pawtucket Red Sox based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The team is a member of the International League and is an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. It plays its home games at McCoy Stadium. He made his debut in April 1999. He is a member of the Polar Bear species. He is 6'6” and bats Right-handed. He tosses baseballs in the middle of the 5th inning and wears number 99. He lives at McCoy Stadium, in Paws Pavilion in Pawtucket.
My favorite player of all time is David Ortiz. Not only do I think he is the worlds best player but he is so fun to hang out with. He is like a big kid himself. Paws favorite baseball movie is Bad News Bears. I love an underdog story!!! My favorite sports team of course is PawSox with Red Sox a close second.

If I could ply any other sport it would be hockey!! I love to skate and I love the fast pace action. If I weren’t a mascot I would go back to the North Pole where I’m from and help Santa who is who sent me here in the first place!!! I hope that never happens though because being a mascot was my childhood dream come true!! Always follow your dreams. —— Paws
