Snappy D. Turtle is the mascot for the Beloit Snappers in the Midwest League. They are an affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. They are located in Beloit, Wisconsin. They play their home games at Harry C. Pohlman Field, built in 1982.

Snappy was born on June 1, 1995 and fell in love with baseball the first time he laid eyes on it! He quickly became very active with the Snappers and is now in his 23rd season with the team. Snappy's favorite part about working for the Snappers is all of the great fans that come out to watch the Snappers!

Snappy lives at Pohlman Field in Beloit, WI and is devoted to putting a smile on everyone's face that he meets. Snappy's main job is to dance and provide entertainment to the amazing Snappers fans. His favorite baseball team is the Beloit Snappers, but loves the Oakland Athletics because he sees so many of his former Snapper friends playing for the Major League Baseball club.

In his free time, Snappy visits with his fans, reads up on all of the former Snappers, watches the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and listens to 60s music, especially The Turtles. Snappy's favorite activity is running the bases and taking batting practice at Pohlman Field. He is excited for a great 2019 season and can't wait to see what the new season holds
