Bowie Baysox


Louie is the mascot of the Bowie Baysox, located in Bowie, Maryland. They are an affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, and play in the Eastern League. Their home ballpark is Prince George's Stadium.

Louie is also the lovable Mayor of LouieVille, Maryland, and the lovable mascot of the Bowie Baysox. He always thanks his friends for visiting LouieVille, “The Kids Capital!.”

“I'm SO happy to see you stopped by! As mayor, I want to make LouieVille something great for kids of all ages. Whether it's at the ballpark, on my website, or in and around Bowie.

“The question I get asked most often is, ‘what kind of animal are you?’ Well, the truth is I'm not even sure myself. The best answer to that question is that I am green and furry, with bright orange hair! Oh, and I love to give hugs!

“I am SO excited! I am already counting the days until my birthday celebration which will be held this year at Prince George's Stadium with all of my other furry friends - and YOU, of course!

“Being the mayor of LouieVille, MD, is the best job in the world! It is so great to go to all the fun events and to meet wonderful people from all over. I have made friends at schools in Maryland, D.C., and Virginia, at area community centers, at festivals and fairs, and at too many other places to count on my green furry fingers!

“Of course, my FAVORITE place to meet new friends is right at home at Baysox games. I love running around the stands and hugging every kid I see! I love taking pictures with all the kids on the concourse! I love singing Happy Birthday on the dugout!

Striker is the Florida Fire Frogs mascot. The Frogs are a member of the Florida State League in Kissimmee, Florida, part of the Greater Orlando metropolitan area. Founded in 2017, the team is an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. They play their home games at Osceola County Stadium. Striker the Fire Frog has served as the mascot for the Florida Fire Frog, an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves located in Central Florida, since 2017.
