Inland Empire 66ers
The Inland Empire 66ers are located in sunny San Bernardino, California. They are an affiliate of theLos Angeles Angels and play in the California League. The 66ers play home games at San Manuel Stadium.
Bernie (Right) and Slick, (Left) the mascots for the 66ers are Double Trouble, but they are best friends. They are always getting into shenanigans around San Manuel Stadium
During the 1999 season, Bernie, a little known mascot from Utah, was called upon to join the Bug (former San Bernardino mascot) and was an instant hit with the fans. Bernie is the wackiest mascot in ALL of the California League. He loves to shake his belly, and bang his pan up on top of the dugout. He’s constantly dancing or getting into mischief around the stadium. BUT, the absolute wackiest thing about Bernie is that he TALKS! All throughout the season, you can hear a chorus of “WOO’s!”, as Bernie riles up the crowd.
In the off season, Bernie can be found visiting many schools in the Inland Empire to teach kids the importance of reading. He can be found attending Little League Opening Ceremonies to cheer on the kids of our community.

In 2015, Bernie was searching high and low for a partner in crime. One day he stumbled upon a young mechanic named, Slick. They immediately hit it off! He invited Slick to join the 66ers mascot family, and the rest is history! Today, Slick can be found carrying his giant wrench around the stadium, just waiting to fix things, or interfering with on-field games such as the Tire Roll.
In the off season, Slick can be found in The Garage, tuning up the HEMI (1) in his 1970 Dodge Challenger. And when he’s not in the shop, he goes on trips with Bernie to Opening Ceremonies to flex his muscles and root on the Little Leaguers.
