Charlie Chukar is the mascot for the Idaho Falls Chukars based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The Chukars are an affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. They play their home games at Melaleuca Field, which has a seating capacity of 3,600

Inspired by the Thirty Seconds to Mars song “Walk on Water” Charlie walked on and across the Snake River on October 15th 2017. The Snake River is a predominant river in Idaho. It covers a few states but goes all through Idaho. He made the walk once again on April 12th, 2018. When Charlie is not walking across the Snake River he is at the ballpark cheering on the Chukars.

Charlie is his name cecause it goes well ith Chukar. While Charlie lacked the bat speed and hand-eye coordination to make it as a player, he does have a rocket for an arm. He frequently hangs around the bullpen, throws bullpen sessions and tries to convince the pitching coach that he deserves a chance to display his talents in game situations.

An Avid Fisherman, Charlie once caught a 75 pound fish that currently hangs next to his locker at Melaleuca Field. During the summer, Charlie can be found at Melaleuca Field, eating hot dogs, heckling the visiting team, and visiting all the great fans at the ballpark. Charlie loves to play games with the kids,he loves to race anyone.
