Skipper is the mascot of The Lake County Captains located in Eastlake, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. They are a member of the Midwest Leauge. They play at Classic Park. The team is an affiliate of the Cleveland Indians.
Skipper joined the Lake County Captains in their inaugural season at Classic Park back in 2003. When he is at Captains games, he loves dancing on the dugouts, messing around with fans and players, and making sure everyone is having a good time.
Skipper resides in Captains Cove, a small tropical island in the middle of Lake Erie. When Skipper isn't at the stadium, he enjoys water skiing, eating popcorn and hot dogs, and watching movies. His favorite movie is the Sandlot. Skipper,s favorite player from our parant club, the Cleveland Indians, is Francisco Lindor who played for the Captains in 2012. If Skipper wasn't our mascot, he would be a movie star in Hollywood.
