Homer Hound is the mascot for The Tennessee Smokies based in Knoxville, Tennessee. The team plays in the Southern League. They are an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. Smokies Stadium, the team's ballpark, is located in the suburb of Kodak, and seats up to 6,000 fans.
Homer is a fun-loving dog who loves to have his ear scratched. Homer has been hanging around Smokies Stadium since the 2013 season. He can often be seen around Smokies Stadium hitting home runs, stealing second base, or lounging in the suites. He loves interacting with fans, bouncing on the pony hops, and can't resist a good game of fetch. Homer Hound is a big reason why Smokies Stadium is America's Friendliest Ballpark.
