Keyote is the mascot for The Frederick Keys. They are an affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. The Keys are based in Frederick, Maryland. The franchise is named for Star Spangled Banner poet Francis Scott Key, a native of Frederick County. Home games are played at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium. Opened in 1990, it seats 5,400 fans.

Keyote is the #1 fan of the Frederick Keys. A Coyote (not a dog) Keyote loves attending Frederick Keys games more than anything. He loves seeing his best friends in the spring and summer-Frederick Keys fans. Big crowds make him smile and he especially loves meeting young Keys fans, some of whom may be attending a baseball game for the first time!

Keyote also is very close with Frederick Keys players! Every year he makes life long friendships, while he loves watching his friends reach the Major Leagues and realizing their dreams! Over 160 of Keyote’s friends have played for the Orioles or other Major League teams. It makes him so happy when he can watch their dreams come true.

Outside of making new friends, Keyote loves taking part in on-field games, shaking his keys in the bottom of the seventh inning and making everyone around him smile! Keyote hopes to see you at a Keys game soon!
