Chuck is the mascot for the West Virginia Power. They play in the South Atlantic League and are an affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. They are located in Charleston, West Virginia, and play their home games at Appalachian Power Park which opened in 2005 and seats 4,500 fans.

Chuck is a rare specimen. Chuck appeared at Appalachian Power Park shortly before the 2005 opening. Initially, Chuck served as a translator of the Pirate language so the Power could talk to the Pirates from Pittsburgh. Chuck holds several records, including most hotdogs eaten on Family Buck Night (87). Fastest time in the IHOP pancake race (7). And most fans entertained (millions) in his free time.

Chuck enjoys strolls along the concourse and watching Animal Planet. He stands 5'11” and weighs 168 pounds. He is a switch hitter and thrower. He was born January 15, 2004 in Charleston, West Virginia.

Legend has it that Chuck originated around the same time that the Power began their affiliation with the Pittsburgh Pirates. However, behind closed doors, Chuck has always been a fan of the Seattle Mariners.

He owns size XXXL Jerseys of Ichiro Suzuki, Felix Hernandez and more. Since his public debut, the lovely 'thing' has become a national icon in the Kanawha Valley due to his massive dance skills, dreamy eye patch and his incredible people skills. Some of Chuck's career accomplishments include being the sole founder of the 'loaded-tots' menu item, brining smiles to millions of West Virginia Power fans and recording the quickest time in the Sudden Link Dash (5.2 seconds).

Chuck’s favorite game to play with the kids is Hide N Seek. He’s very good at finding people, but not very good at hiding because his yellow skin makes him stick out.
