Fang is the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers mascot. The Rattlers are in the Midwest League. They are a Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. The Rattlers are located in Appleton, Wisconsin and are named for the timber rattlesnake, which is indigenous to the area. They play in Fox City Stadium.

Fang joined the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers when they were established in April 1995. Fang is a 6 foot 5 inch Snake with hands and feet. He will be 25 next spring. Fangs favorite color is Rattlers Red.

Fang is also an undefeated kickball champion, T-Shirt Gun Marksman and is also excellent at charades. He is undefeated in Kickball. This comes from Fang putting on a kickball game with other mascots for his birthday. Fang invites 20-30 mascots every August for his birthday party and they play a kickball game for about 25-30 minutes. Fang has never lost.

A lot of his appearances surround sponsor visits. He also does many awareness walks/runs, hospital and little league visits.

He has his own reading club which takes place in January until April. He visits between 100-150 schools during those four months to promote reading throughout the state of Wisconsin and even Escanaba, Michigan. The reading club incentive is for students to read as many books as they can. They will be rewarded for every book they read, with the grand prize being a ticket to a Timber Rattlers game along with a free hot dog and soda. It has been very well received by the schools in Wisconsin.
Fang's favorite food: Ballpark Hotdogs.
Favorite song: Take Me Out To The Ballgame.
Favorite movie: "Field of Dreams”
Favorite player: The entire Milwaukee Brewers team.
