Born and raised on the wide, open prairies of Oklahoma, Brooklyn and Brix grew up like most cattle dog pups do: working the range. Although their days were spent roving the trail, they both always had a nose for baseball.
During their formative years, Brooklyn and Brix would pass the days listening to ballgames on the radio, and the cowpokes would tell "tails" about baseball greats like Mickey Mantle, Johnny Bench, and Warren Spahn. They dreamed that they'd one day leave the "ruff" and tumble cattle-driving life behind and leave their mark on the game.
One day, the siblings "herd" that the Oklahoma City Dodgers were holding an open competition to find the next mascots to lead the team. It was almost too good to be true. Brooklyn and Brix hung up their lassos and boots, and headed to the city to fetch their destiny.
When Brooklyn and Brix arrived at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, the club was immediately "bow-wowed" by the spunky attitude, loveable nature, and endless energy the pups displayed. They were hired on the spot to be the official mascots of the OKC Dodgers.
Nowadays, when they're not busy chasing their own tails, you'll find Brooklyn and Brix rounding up fans to cheer on the OKC Dodgers, wolfing down Dodger Dogs, and giving their all for the team.
