Scooch is the mascot for the The Syracuse Mets, a member of the International League. They are an affiliate of the New York Mets. They are located in Syracuse, New York and play their home games at NBT Bank Stadium that opened in 1997 and has a seating capacity of 11,071.

Scooch has entertained baseball fans in Syracuse for over 25 years and is a favorite among fans young and old. In addition to performing at every Mets home game, Scooch also makes appearances at area schools, hospitals, libraries, parks and many other community events!

Every year Scooch visits schools across New York to spread messages to young kids about anti-bullying, something Scooch is very passionate about. Scooch’s favorite day is Sunday because all the kids get to run the bases after the game on Sunday’s.

His best friends are Otto the Orange (Syracuse university) and Crunchman (Syracuse Crunch, American Hockey League) and Rowdy the Rumble Pony (Binghamton Rumble Ponies)

Favorite Food: Hofmann Hotdogs and ice cream!
