San Jose Giants

They have played in historic Excite Park since 1942. Gigante is larger than life. He weighs 5,000 bananas, bats with a banana and throws coconuts. He was voted “Best Mascot” in the California Leage and appeared in, “The Jungle's Got Talent. . Gigante arrived in San Jose in 2005. The ValleyCats are an affiliate of the Houston Astros They play their home game at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.  SouthPaw has been a resident of Troy, New York since he was a tiny kitten in 2002. He loves his hometown, and most importantly, the Tri-City ValleyCats! West Virginia Power

Photo Credit: West Virginia Power Chuck is the mascot for the West Virginia Power. They play in the South Atlantic League and are an affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. They are located in Charleston, West Virginia, and play their home games at Appalachian Power Park which opened in 2005 and seats 4,500 fans. Chuck is a rare specimen. Chuck appeared at Appalachian Power Park shortly before the 2005 opening. Initially, Chuck served as a translator of the Pirate language so the Power could talk to the Pirates from Pittsburgh. Chuck holds several records, including most hotdogs eaten on Family Buck Night (87). Fastest time in the IHOP pancake race (7). And most fans entertained (millions) in his free time. Photo Credit: Hartford Yard Goats T he Hartford Yard Goats are based in Hartford, Connecticut. The Yard Goats play in the Eastern League. They are the affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. The team was founded in 2016 when the New Britain Rock Cats relocated to Hartford. The homepark is Dunkin Donuts Park. On October 30, 2015, the Yard Goats unveiled their two mascots at a press conference at Capital Preparatory Magnet School in Hartford. Their names “Chompers” and “Chew Chew” were selected from the over 4,000 submissions in an online “Name the Mascot” contest in July. Chompers and Chew Chew are two friendly character goats who will represent the Yard Goats in the community and of course cheer on the home team at every game at Dunkin’ Donuts Park. Just a few weeks after the mascots were introduced, they made an appearance on the “Today Show” with famous weatherman personality Al Roker. Photo Credit: Allison Rhoades Homer is the mascot for the Peoria Chiefs. They play in the Midwest League and are an affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. The Chiefs are located in Peoria, Illinois. They are named for the Peoria Indian tribe for which the city was named. The team plays its home games at Dozer Park which opened in 2002.  Homer was born in the localfirehouse in Peoria in August 2004. He is 7 feet 3 inches tall. He started as the Chiefs mascot in 2005 . He has been with the Chiefs for 13 years. He lives in Dozr Park. Homer's favorite team is the Kansas City Chiefs. He sometimes gets them confused with us. Baseball is his favorite sport because he can fetch and steal all of the players bats during or after the games. His favorite player is Greg (Mad Dog” Maddux who played with the Chiefs. Kane County Cougars

Their home games are played at Northwestern Medicine Field in Geneva, Illinois, about 35 miles west of Chicago Ozzie is entering his 29th season as the Cougars official mascot and goodwill ambassador. Some of his game-day duties include giving high-fives and hugs to fans, signing autographs, helping cheer the Cougars to victory and participating in some of the on-field entertainment. He is particularly proud of the Cougars Reading Club program, which has graduated more than one million readers throughout the Chicagoland area. Annie T. Cougar is the younger sister of Ozzie. She spent the early part of her life focusing on receiving her education and traveling the country before deciding to join the family business. They play their home games at BB&T Ballpark. Boomer became the Williamsport Crosscutters mascot in 2008. He was a childhood friend of former Cutters mascot Rusty Roughcut who recommended him for the job. Boomer is adjusting to life outside the the forest. He loves riding his 4 wheeler and cheering on the Cutters. He is tall, 6 feet, weight, equal to a tall evergreen. He bats clumsy and throws rarely. Hickory Crawdads

Photo Credit: Andrew Lackey The Hickory Crawdads are a member of the South Atlantic League and the Class A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. They are located in Hickory, North Carolina. Their ballpark is L. P. Frans Stadium which opened in 1993. Conrad the Crawdad has been entertaining Crawdad fans since the first game ever played in 1993, and hasn’t missed one since. In 2019, it will be Conrad’s 27th season with the Crawdads. Conrad and Candy met on Lake Hickory in 2005, and immediately hit it off. Candy has been with the team ever since and loves throwing candy to the fans at L.P. Frans Stadium. This past summer on May 12th, 2018 they decided it was time for the next step in their relationship and Conrad finally asked her to marry him. Lynchburg Hillcats

The Lynchburg Hillcats in Lynchburg, Virginia, are a Class A-Advanced team in the Carolina League. They are a farm team of the Cleveland Indians. Southpaw is the mascot labeled as "Director of Fun" for the Hillcats team. Southpaw has been the mascot for Lynchburg for many years. He arrived in Lynchburg in early 2017. Southpaw was adopted from the Lynchburg Humane Society in January of 2017. Southpaw has big feet and wore HUGE shoes. He has fit in puuurfectly with the Hillcats by adding to the excitement of City Stadium. Photo Credit: Memphis Redbirds The Memphis Redbirds, Memphis, Tennessee are an affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. They play in AutoZone Park which opened in 2000. Rockey the Rockin' Redbird, the official team mascot of the Memphis Redbirds, loves to make AutoZone Park his playground and have fun with the best fans in baseball. Rockey first flew the coop in 1997 to join the Redbirds organization in their inaugural season of 1998. On game days, Rockey can be seen flying through the stadium signing autographs or taking picture with fans. When not taking selfies with fans, Rockey leads the promo team in cutting a rug during the 7th inning stretch and tossing out t-shirts in between innings. Outside of living the celebrity life at AutoZone Park and being the spokesbird for the Kids Club, Rockey enjoys traveling throughout Memphis to be the life of every party and event. They are located in the downtown area of Durham, North Carolina. The Bulls are the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. The Bulls play their home games at Durham Bulls Athletic Park often called the "DBAP" or "D-Bap". W ool E. Bull was born in July, 1992. He met his team and his community with that big goofy smile on his face. He quickly learned that his middle name, Education, had been selected from a pool of over 500 names. Over the years, Wool E. Bull grew to become a staple of the Durham Bulls Operation. His antics and dancing are known throughout the Triangle. People from all over the world come to see Wool E. dance, shoot t-shirts out of his Bright Leaf Hot Dog Launcher, throw softy baseballs to the crowd in his Go Kart, and dance on the field. The Kings are an affiliate of the Miami Marlins. They play their home games at Ashford University Field.  Louie the LumberKing returns for his 25th season of Midwest League baseball in 2018 as the mascot for the Clinton LumberKings. Louie was first-round pick by the Kings in the '94 Mascot Entry Draft out of Paul Bunyan University. Louie was proclaimed the "King of Midwest League Mascots" by popular fan vote in MSNBC's Minor League Logo contest in 2008 thanks to his newly-grown goatee and brand new gold crown. The son of Norwegian immigrants Olaf and Helga, Louie starred as the mascot for the PBU Log Jammers baseball team after seeing his baseball playing career shortened by a freak splinter accident. The team is located in Portland, Maine and they play at Hadlock Field. Slugger is the mascot for the Portland Sea Dogs. He is the Director of Crowd Entertainment and is baseball's hardest working mascot. Slugger has entertained more than 9 million fans since his arrival at Hadlock Field on May 7, 1994. They play at Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport, Iowa. Rascal first appeared with the River Bandits on April 1, 2008. So, this past season we celebrated his 10th birthday on August 2. Rascal is the playful yet mischievous face of the River Bandits' franchise. Rascal is always decked out in his River Bandits attire and never misses an opportunity to pump up the crowd! If this giant, cuddly raccoon isn't seen wandering the concourse, he can be found out on the field between innings. He has been known to challenge fans to a race around the base paths, dance on top of the dugouts, or just cheer on contestants in the on-field games! They play their home games at Smith's Ballpark. Bumble made his Triple-A debut on April 14, 2006. Bumble has been buzzing around Smith's Ballpark as the official mascot of the Salt Lake Bees. When Bumble isn't at the ballpark you can find him at local hospitals, charity events or at the hive with his honey. Bumble loves kids of all ages and will continue to 'bee' the happiest mascot in the league.  Bumble is from Honeyville, Utah but left because he is bigger than the average bee there.
